Tuesday Tutorial - Butterscotch Chip Cookies

These cookies are amazing!  I love the softness of them and the butterscotch chips are just deliciousness in my mouth!  Add a glass of cold milk and you've got yourself the perfect combination!

Butterscotch Chip Cookies:
3/4c. shortening
3/4c. butter, softened
2 1/2c. brown sugar
4Tbsp. milk
2 eggs
3c. flour
2tsp. salt
1 1/2tsp. baking soda
3/4 bag of butterscotch chips (or more if you want more!)

I make this easy on myself and just throw everything into the mixer at once.  Mix it up really well and then add the butterscotch chips and mix in with a big spoon.  Go ahead and steal a few chips just to make sure they taste good.  I did!  

Bake at 350 for about 12 min, or until slightly golden on edges/top.  Cool and devour.  YUM!

  1. Oh, man, I haven't had a butterscotch chip cookie in EVER. I love them. I can't eat sugar, so I can't, but oh boy, I can just smell them now. Sigh! ~Angela~

    1. They are delicious for sure! You can't eat sugar and I can't eat chocolate. :)
